      I went to school in Scotland maaaaaaaaaaaaaany years ago, so our equivilants were ‘Standard Grades’ for GCSEs and ‘Highers’ for A-Levels.

      For my ‘Standard Grades’:
      English A
      Maths B
      Biology A
      Chemistry B
      Physics B
      Modern Studies B

      For my ‘Highers’:
      English A
      RE A
      Human Biology B
      Chemistry B
      Maths B
      Physics C

      Hey!

      I did 11 GCSEs: Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, English Language and English Literature, History, Geography, IT, Spanish and Art. I got 7A*s and 4As, I was lucky I had some really good teachers! They encouraged me to work hard. For A-levels I did Chemistry, Biology and Maths and got As in all of them.

      Hi,
      I didn’t do GCSEs.. I did the old ‘O level’ exams. I got 6 A grades (no A* grades in those days) and 3Bs. For my A levels I got AAA + a distinction in Special paper Biology and a merit in Special paper Chemistry (those exams aren’t run anymore, but I suppose they are a bit like an EPQ).

      English (Literature & Language) – BB
      Electronics – A*
      Information Technology – A
      Music – C
      Geography – C
      Religious Studies – Gold

      I remember results day, the huge sigh of relief that all my grades were A*-C! 🙂
