• Question: what are the most interesting medicines you work with?

      I work at the very earliest stage of drug discovery. At this point we have a whole bunch of chemicals that our chemists make that they think might have a chance of being a medicine. Once I have identified particular molecules that have more potential, they change them around to make them better, and then pass them on to other people.

      I guess what I am saying is, any one of the chemicals I work with could be the next Big Thing! ™ So, the answer would be, all of them!
