Hi Yolandap
Good to chat with you today!
It varies between universities. In the more prestigious universities (the “Russell Group” of research universities), you might need ABB. At other places you might be able to have lower grades. For Oxford or Cambridge…. a minimum of three As!
You will definitely need Biology or Chemistry (preferably both) but for the third A level, it doesn’t matter too much. I have a lot of students who do well having done history or English + two sciences. The humanities subject gives them practice at writing essays and you have to do a lot of that in some courses!
Best wishes
Richard
At the University of Westminster you need CCC, the two Cs need to be in Science subjects. The course leader for the degree is actually my supervisor, so, if you need anymore information, let me know, and I will put you in touch with him.
It depends on the university. Typically, A’level grades C and above in the sciences (i.e. biology & chemistry) and preferably maths should be able to secure you a place on a pharmacology programme.
