Hi 712,
This is an important question to ask, but a difficult one to answer.
I think it is a hard, but personal choice and I can understand the arguments on both sides. If I were a woman having to make such a decision, I do not know what I would do.
Best wishes
Richard
I believe in an enlightened society it is up to a woman to decide what happens to her body, and that includes deciding whether to continue with a pregnancy or not.
Like the others I think it is really up to the person involved, so I don’t think it should be banned. No one can truly know what someone else is going through or thinking but as long as the right support and information about both is offered to the woman then we shouldn’t judge her decision as it’s difficult enough to make as it is.
Really good question. I think it is a personal choice and should remain as a personal choice/ decision. However, it is important that both parties make the decision together. We are lucky to live in a society that accepts abortion and allows the person to decide if they want to carry on with the pregnancy or terminate it. There are some countries that are against abortion (like Brazil) as are some religions.
