Question: If more money was rewarded from the grant what would you use it for?

Hi Sonia, thanks for your question.

If there were more money from the grant, I would try to use it to fund work placements from local schools in real labs doing real work. One of the big difficulties with lab work is how much everything costs. I just spent a few thousand pounds buying proteins to test! So it can be hard giving kids proper ‘hands on’ experience with the sorts of experiments that we do. I’d love to be able to do that!
