      Hey Hard Lad!

You could try biological sciences, biomedical science, natural science, human science, or psychology.
I assume you want something with a biology focus or you could also do maths, computer science, many kinds of engineering or earth sciences,

This is all from the entry requirements for Oxford: http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/courses/entrance-requirements/table-entrance-requirements that will hopefully give you some ideas to go and look up similar courses at different unis too.

If you could say a bit more about what you are interested in we could try and help a bit more 🙂

      Hi The Hard Lad,
Good to chat to you the other day!
Have you thought about neuroscience? Many students find it hard because they have not done physics and so they can’t understand the stuff to do with electrical signalling. You’d be well set though.
If you do decide that medicine is what you want to do, you need to choose your courses carefully, as many places insist on chemistry btw.
You can find out loads of interesting stuff about courses on the Government unistats website. https://unistats.direct.gov.uk/
Also, make sure you go along to open days and chat to students to find out what the courses are really like!
      Cheers
      Richard

      Hello The HARD lad!!!!

Just remember that this is a recommendation 🙂

Have you thought about Radiology? You have a good combination here but it all depends on what you enjoy doing and what you want to achieve in the future (career wise).

I have added some links, check them out:
      http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/explore-by-career/allied-health-professions/careers-in-the-allied-health-professions/radiographer/

      http://www.bir.org.uk/

If you don’t want to study medicine and want to work with patients this could be a option for you. Also, you could go into imaging research after your degree too. There are other degrees such as Astrology, Quantum Physics, Engineering (software or mechanical) etc. too (more theory based).

      Best Wishes,

      Vedia

      Hello HARD lad,

You should consider basing you choice on the following criteria:

      1. Personal interest
      2. Employability
      3. Contribution to society

      I hope this is helpful.

      Best wishes,
      Alex
